My precious little Morky, Alburt Theodore, was found due to my posting of an ad (along with a current picture of him) on Craigslist in the regular LOST section. I was so happy to have him returned to me. The young lady that returned him to me informed me she was going to take him to the local vet office (which happened to be our vet as well) and have him scanned to see if he was chipped. He had gotten out of the house sans his harness vest on so there was no indication he was chipped. Anyhow, she saw my ad on Craigslist and returned him that night. I was so happy I did have him chipped, though. If I hadn’t placed the ad on craigslist he could still have been found, scanned and returned to me. I thoroughly support chipping our beloved pets. 🙂
