After a long, trying day and night by himself, Taz , our Rottweiler, was rescued by Melissa at the Sacramento Animal Hospital on Tuesday. He had to be bribed, but they were able to get him to the shelter and we were connected through PetLink. He was not very friendly so I commend Melissa for being persistent. She was told by a client that he was wandering the neighborhood across from their facility. She followed him and closed him into a yard that he had wandered into to rest, because at that point Taz had been off exploring for several hours. He was uninjured, which is somewhat of a miracle as Manzanita is a very busy four-lane road. Once we got him into the car he was whining like crazy. He wanted water and his food. Now he’s laying at the top of the stairs where he can watch the kids upstairs and make sure we are not leaving downstairs. Thank you to Sacramento Animal Hospital. We are thankful to have our Tazzer back at home.
