A gentleman named Caleb found Dot wandering around and picked her up to make sure she was safe. He took her to a vet, who read her microchip, which resulted in my getting Caleb’s address and phone number. It turned out that Caleb lived less than 2 miles from us, so we just drove over and picked Dot up. We were so happy that a good person saw her and knew she was in trouble, so he took it upon himself to see if he could get her back to us. The microchip really did the job, and Dot was only gone from us for one day. The day she got out of the yard was very cold in the 30’s in the morning. If she had remained out side, she most likely would not have survived.

Not only are we happy that Dot is back home, but Dot’s female companion rescue dog, Meg, was so happy to see her back home again. Thanks again for your help in bringing Dot home.
