Lost Pet: Ranger

Circumstances

I received a phone call from706-814-0118 at 1:30am 8/7/24 . the man on the phone told me that Ranger was at his house. I ask him to release him back outside. Never found Ranger again. I called the number back the same morning at 7:12am and the man seem irritated at my call. He is a house guest of my next door neighbor's home(1367 Brown Rd Hephzibah, GA 30815). I am at a lost of what to do next.
