Lost Pet: Ham

Circumstances

i moved back into my moms house, where i am unable to have cats. i reached out to my friend, madi, to take ham until i moved somewhere else where i can have cats. madi lives 1.5 hours away from me, so i knew i wouldnt be able to visit very often when i gave him to her. i visited ham twice within the first week of dropping him off, and then madi blocked me, so i have been unable to contact her. madi recently contacted me, told me ham has fleas and tapeworms, and that she is not treating him for these issues. i told her that i'd take him back, and that i have another friend he could stay with since she isnt taking proper care of him. she told me that made her angry, and she blocked me. i called the local animal shelter, and they said theyd visit her to educate her. if theres any way i can get ham back, i'd be estatic!
