Lost Pet: Rasputin
Circumstances
I would like to start off by saying I know I am stupid. I adopted Rasputin on my birthday, 12/21/2004. All I had to do was drive him four hours from Tallahassee to Tarpon Springs. Obviously, I did not succeed. About an hour and a half into the drive, I stopped at a Sunoco gas station in Tennille Florida. I opened his carrier to feed him a Churu because he had been so well behaved. He jumped out and started exploring my car. It was then when I made the brilliant decision to stand outside my car door with his carrier and try to get him back in. With the car door open, he quickly regained his freedom and ran into the neighboring woods. He is a good boy, but still mostly undomesticated. I had been taking care of him for about a month before officially adopting him. He depends on humans to feed him and likes to hand out outside/under houses when not hungry.
