Pip’s Big Run

Pip is an English Setter who loves to run. We have had several weeks of unusually warm weather here which has prevented us from letting her run and getting as much exercise as usual. As a result, she developed a rather extreme case of ‘Cabin Fever’ and she escaped to chase a deer. Since I…

A Week Away!

Our 11 year old indoor/outdoor cat, Mae, ventures about our backyard, usually just a block away and returns home. This recent occasion, she did not. She had been away for 7 days. We checked the local shelters. We did our usual walks around the neighborhood calling out for her but no luck. She was luckily…

It’s a dream to have Dreamy back!

I am so thankful I had my kitty cat Dreamy microchipped by PetLink a few years ago. Dreamy was found by a wonderful lady, named Lara and I now have her back home with me. I wish everyone would microchip and know about microchipping pets. And at least take a found pet and have he/she…

Scary call from across the country

We live in MA area and were traveling to San Antonio to visit family. We had someone watching our 11 lb King Charles Cavalier named Daisy Rey (named after Daisy Ridley who played the character Rey) while we we were away.  While there, Friday afternoon I got a voice mail from an animal hospital about…

A Message of Hope and Support for Microchipping!

Our beloved Midnight, an indoor cat, made a sneaky escape Memorial Day 2021. After many weeks of searching and posting about our lost cat we slowly lost hope. Fast forward to today, November 25, 2022. I received a text message from PetLink, an email from PetLink and a phone call from a local veterinarian: Midnight…

Fireworks Scared Stella

On the night of 4th July Stella took off out of a open door in the house after hearing a firework. The people who found her took her to the pound where they were able to find my information via the microchip and she was reunited with me the next day! Thank you, PetLink!

Are You Missing Topher?

I want to thank PetLink! Topher has been missing for a while. When the pound called to say they had him, they asked if we were missing Topher. I was like “yes, ma’am!” and they said “we think we have him but we are not sure we do.” The people had totally bleached him they…

Kept the Faith

A huge thanks to everyone who got Faith and I reunited. I turned my back and she just disappeared. I walked, hollered, and whistled till after midnight when someone told me about PetLink. I figured someone picked her up or a coyote got her and I’d never see her again. I also had recently changed…

Out and Back Again

Our Dog Rex snuck out our fenced backyard. I was mowing the lawn and my wife let him out in the backyard. I had left side gate open while mowing and did not see he was in the yard! A Police Officer found him a few blocks away and took him back to Police Station…

Benefits of Microchipping Your Pet

Microchipping your pet has several benefits. Microchips are permanent – after they are implanted, your dog or cat will never need to have it removed or replaced. Microchips do not use any power source or connectivity, so they will always be able to be scanned under any conditions. Microchips are inexpensive and easy to implant into your pet by a veterinarian. The procedure is also swift and generally painless.

Unfortunately, it is very common for a lost pet to be found without a name tag on their collar. This often leads to pets being placed in shelters, hoping their owner will find them. Unlike tags and collars, microchips cannot fall out, break, get lost, etc. No matter what your pet does or where it goes, the microchip will stay safely implanted under its skin. When a pet has a microchip, it can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter, regardless of the condition the pet is in. Microchips are the quickest and easiest way to identify lost animals and return them to their owners.

What Happens When Your Pet Has Been Found & Reported

When a PetLink chip is scanned in a found pet, the owner gets notified immediately. To get in touch as quickly as possible, the registered owner will receive, texts, phone calls, and emails from PetLink right away. Once PetLink gets connected with the pet owner, arrangements can be made to return the pet safely back to its family.

Giving You Peace of Mind

We understand how important pets are to their owners– many consider their animals as members of their family. Naturally, pet owners worry about their pet’s safety and well-being. Microchipping your pet is one of the easiest and most essential steps you can take to keep your animal safe.

PetLink significantly reduces the risk of permanently losing a pet, providing our members with peace of mind knowing we will assist in bringing their lost pets home. We encourage you to read our microchip success stories, which highlight how microchipping not only alleviates owners’ worries but also provides comfort to pets. A microchip registered at PetLink ensures lost pets are quickly reunited with their families, avoiding prolonged stress in shelters and offering great relief for both pets and their owners.
