Thank you for the follow up on McCoy. He was only missing for about an hour; a kind neighbor found him, knew exactly what to do and took him to the local vet, which is only about 5 minutes from his home.
The vet scanned McCoy and was able to find his microchip registered with PetLink. The vet then called me and we were reunited very quickly.
