Subject: We Have Your Dog Ace

My Labrador Retriever, Ace, got out the back gate. Someone in town found him and took him to a shelter. Another family looking for a rescue dog got him and went to the vet but when he was scanned they realized he was my dog. PetLink is very fast at letting you know where your…

Police Dog

I was cutting the grass and my dog, Brutus, must have got out. I waited and looked but I had errands to run and he usually comes back. Later, I was back in the yard with my mower when I saw a police officer. Brutus had been gone two or three hours and PetLink had…

Am I Glad To See You!

First thing in the morning, I’m getting ready for work, I open the back door, go on the computer, I check the weather, have coffee, I’m running late. Charlie’s a really good dog but I look round the unfenced yard and he’s nowhere to be found. My 14-year-old son sleeps late so he went out…

Chewie’s Colorado Adventure

I was out of town at a wedding when the call came that my German Spitz, Chewie, had gotten away and hadn’t been found yet. When I heard he was missing, all the possibilities of what happened were going through my head. He was staying at my mom’s in Colorado Springs where the yard is…

Found Her!

My Lulu found a weak spot in the fence and managed to escape. We looked all over the neighborhood for her and couldn’t find her…I was heartbroken. Then I remembered she had a microchip! So I hurried and ran into the house to update her info on the website, because we had moved out of…

Twice Blessed

My son Michael’s dog, Blaze, moved with the family from Walnut Creek to Copperopolis in California. He was familiar with the neighborhood but he missed my son Michael while he was at work. The day he went missing we think he tried to follow Michael’s car to work. My son has a gated front yard…

Take Me Home!

I picked my red and white Jack Russell Terrier at the pet shelter. She used to be called Noel but that isn’t a good name for training so we used the name Ella. We have a picket fence in the back yard with no neighbor at the back. She got out through the fence somehow….

Two Blocks Away

Dexter broke a hole through the fence and got into my neighbor’s yard. Usually that isn’t a bad thing but this time their gate just happened to be left open. I got him back right after he got out. It only took 20 minutes! I live close to the animal shelter and brought him right…

Friends With Chainsaws

Daisy is a three-year-old Lab Retriever. She strays a little bit but normally she runs back to home base right on time. We couldn’t figure out where she was and for four to six hours we searched the surrounding neighborhoods, a 22-square-mile area around our home. A while back, Daisy made friends with some construction…

Benefits of Microchipping Your Pet

Microchipping your pet has several benefits. Microchips are permanent – after they are implanted, your dog or cat will never need to have it removed or replaced. Microchips do not use any power source or connectivity, so they will always be able to be scanned under any conditions. Microchips are inexpensive and easy to implant into your pet by a veterinarian. The procedure is also swift and generally painless.

Unfortunately, it is very common for a lost pet to be found without a name tag on their collar. This often leads to pets being placed in shelters, hoping their owner will find them. Unlike tags and collars, microchips cannot fall out, break, get lost, etc. No matter what your pet does or where it goes, the microchip will stay safely implanted under its skin. When a pet has a microchip, it can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter, regardless of the condition the pet is in. Microchips are the quickest and easiest way to identify lost animals and return them to their owners.

What Happens When Your Pet Has Been Found & Reported

When a PetLink chip is scanned in a found pet, the owner gets notified immediately. To get in touch as quickly as possible, the registered owner will receive, texts, phone calls, and emails from PetLink right away. Once PetLink gets connected with the pet owner, arrangements can be made to return the pet safely back to its family.

Giving You Peace of Mind

We understand how important pets are to their owners– many consider their animals as members of their family. Naturally, pet owners worry about their pet’s safety and well-being. Microchipping your pet is one of the easiest and most essential steps you can take to keep your animal safe.

PetLink significantly reduces the risk of permanently losing a pet, providing our members with peace of mind knowing we will assist in bringing their lost pets home. We encourage you to read our microchip success stories, which highlight how microchipping not only alleviates owners’ worries but also provides comfort to pets. A microchip registered at PetLink ensures lost pets are quickly reunited with their families, avoiding prolonged stress in shelters and offering great relief for both pets and their owners.
