Is Scarlet OK?

Scarlet was out in the front yard. She got away from the gate and was found a couple of blocks away by a lady. She took Scarlet to a veterinarian who scanned her and found her chip. I had called PetLink to say she was missing and then I quickly had a response to say…

Deer Hunter

My dog Gage was at my grandparents’ house when he ran out of the yard and started chasing after a deer. I got a phone call from PetLink telling me he was found, before I even knew he was lost, and that he was waiting for me at Lake County Animal Control. I’m glad now…

Neeka And K’nook Herd Sheep

I have two Siberian Huskies, Neeka and K’nook. They dug out from under the fence and got into the adjoining property where my neighbor keeps sheep. Of course they were chasing the sheep in that field until another neighbor found them and took them to the pound. When they scanned Neeka they could see she…

Duke is a very handsome, very sweet dog, a Redbone Coonhound. He’s also a hunting dog who likes to go, well, hunt! We have three acres and two other dogs and Duke’s the one who’s learned to get out, in fact, it’s happened quite a few times. He has a chip, a tag and a…

Mischievous Twin Black Pugs Found And Reunited With Us!

I am overwhelmed at the responses I’ve received from everyone on Craigslist. We found out around midnight, after looking for our Pugs all over town, that the person who found them took them to the Friends of the Valley animal shelter where their microchips were scanned and where PetLink came in. We were so relieved,…

Bentley’s Borders Boarded Up

My one-year-old Shih Tzu Bentley loves to dig under the fence. Bentley’s antics have got him into scrapes before. Running out the gate and tunnelling under the yard, he’s been lost three times and retrieved thanks to his PetLink identification. Microchips are the best thing ever! Bentley’s chip has brought him safely home to me…

Doing The Right Thing

The last time my Beagle Bailey got out, instead of running across our street into the woods, he picked up a scent and followed it to the main road. Because I’m so used to him going into the woods, I started wandering through the woods. Twenty minutes or so later I received a call from…

Benefits of Microchipping Your Pet

Microchipping your pet has several benefits. Microchips are permanent – after they are implanted, your dog or cat will never need to have it removed or replaced. Microchips do not use any power source or connectivity, so they will always be able to be scanned under any conditions. Microchips are inexpensive and easy to implant into your pet by a veterinarian. The procedure is also swift and generally painless.

Unfortunately, it is very common for a lost pet to be found without a name tag on their collar. This often leads to pets being placed in shelters, hoping their owner will find them. Unlike tags and collars, microchips cannot fall out, break, get lost, etc. No matter what your pet does or where it goes, the microchip will stay safely implanted under its skin. When a pet has a microchip, it can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter, regardless of the condition the pet is in. Microchips are the quickest and easiest way to identify lost animals and return them to their owners.

What Happens When Your Pet Has Been Found & Reported

When a PetLink chip is scanned in a found pet, the owner gets notified immediately. To get in touch as quickly as possible, the registered owner will receive, texts, phone calls, and emails from PetLink right away. Once PetLink gets connected with the pet owner, arrangements can be made to return the pet safely back to its family.

Giving You Peace of Mind

We understand how important pets are to their owners– many consider their animals as members of their family. Naturally, pet owners worry about their pet’s safety and well-being. Microchipping your pet is one of the easiest and most essential steps you can take to keep your animal safe.

PetLink significantly reduces the risk of permanently losing a pet, providing our members with peace of mind knowing we will assist in bringing their lost pets home. We encourage you to read our microchip success stories, which highlight how microchipping not only alleviates owners’ worries but also provides comfort to pets. A microchip registered at PetLink ensures lost pets are quickly reunited with their families, avoiding prolonged stress in shelters and offering great relief for both pets and their owners.
