Skittish Dog

Here in Oklahoma, they engage in fireworks for the New Year, but while we were visiting, our dog, Bandit, who is frightened of loud noises, got disoriented and ran away. Fortunately, a motorist saw him running on the highway and rescued him. Our rabies tag listed Florida as our home and the savior called the…

Lost Lobo Now Found

My family went on a three-day holiday and we returned to find our Lobo and other small dog missing. When I checked my cell phone to report it on your site, I already had an email from you reading: “Lobo has been found”. I was so happy and amazed at how incredibly well the microchip…

The Two That Got Away

Yesterday, my two dogs, Marcia, a long-haired Dachshund, and Shadow, a black Labrador, ran out the door when my father was not looking. They were gone about eight or nine hours until Shadow appeared. The reason that he wouldn’t come when called was because Marcia was out, too. When they are together, they run for…

Mr. Adventurous

Bosley is quick to bolt out the door and quite the opposite to return! Fortunately, when he went missing a dog groomer found him. That day, however, my phone was dead and gone. Thanks to PetLink who called all of my relatives listed and eventually found me 🙂 And thus we have been reunited!

Bear’s Happy New Year

My husband and I would like to thank you for your prompt assistance in uniting us with our chocolate Lab, Bear. New Year’s Eve, around 11:00 pm, we let Bear out into our backyard. Shortly after that, we went out to get him and realised he had broken through the wooden gate and was nowhere…

Beautiful Baby Bella

Bella is our beautiful, two-year-old, Old Family Rednose Pit Bull and she’s my wife’s baby girl. I got a call to tell me Bella was loose and had been found. So, I went to the pound to pick her up. She can’t have been gone more than an hour and the pound is only two…

Coco Checks Out The Cafes

I had a good experience with Petlink. My cat, Coco, went out one night near our local tennis club. The area where I live is busy, made up of condominiums and townhouses and surrounded by cafes and shops. There are a lot of cats out at night and she wasn’t wearing a collar. I think…

Chipped In The Nick Of Time

Our Miniature Schnauzer, Maximus had gotten out of our yard and a neighbor found him in an alleyway between some houses, soaking wet, at 9:30 in the morning. We moved here in July, not long ago, so they didn’t realize Maximus was our dog. They called the number on his PetLink tag and ended up…

Benefits of Microchipping Your Pet

Microchipping your pet has several benefits. Microchips are permanent – after they are implanted, your dog or cat will never need to have it removed or replaced. Microchips do not use any power source or connectivity, so they will always be able to be scanned under any conditions. Microchips are inexpensive and easy to implant into your pet by a veterinarian. The procedure is also swift and generally painless.

Unfortunately, it is very common for a lost pet to be found without a name tag on their collar. This often leads to pets being placed in shelters, hoping their owner will find them. Unlike tags and collars, microchips cannot fall out, break, get lost, etc. No matter what your pet does or where it goes, the microchip will stay safely implanted under its skin. When a pet has a microchip, it can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter, regardless of the condition the pet is in. Microchips are the quickest and easiest way to identify lost animals and return them to their owners.

What Happens When Your Pet Has Been Found & Reported

When a PetLink chip is scanned in a found pet, the owner gets notified immediately. To get in touch as quickly as possible, the registered owner will receive, texts, phone calls, and emails from PetLink right away. Once PetLink gets connected with the pet owner, arrangements can be made to return the pet safely back to its family.

Giving You Peace of Mind

We understand how important pets are to their owners– many consider their animals as members of their family. Naturally, pet owners worry about their pet’s safety and well-being. Microchipping your pet is one of the easiest and most essential steps you can take to keep your animal safe.

PetLink significantly reduces the risk of permanently losing a pet, providing our members with peace of mind knowing we will assist in bringing their lost pets home. We encourage you to read our microchip success stories, which highlight how microchipping not only alleviates owners’ worries but also provides comfort to pets. A microchip registered at PetLink ensures lost pets are quickly reunited with their families, avoiding prolonged stress in shelters and offering great relief for both pets and their owners.
