Thank you to the angel who picked up Chico

Chico recently underwent extensive eye surgery.  He was on 5 different eye drops, wearing a cone and he has not been wearing his collar since it interferes with the cone! Our back gate blew down during the terrible storms we had on Monday night. Somehow, with his tiny furry feet and 1/2 his vision, he…

Back after 12 years – unbelievable!

I received a call from a vet who was about 10 miles away from home today. They said that someone had dropped off what they believed to be a stray cat, however when they scanned him it was my missing cat! He’s been gone at least 11 years, and I can’t even remember exactly when…

PetLink helped me have closure

Dragon and I have been through a lifetime’s worth of experiences over the past six years. A few months ago, he got out when living in a new place and he got lost. It was the toughest thing to process… I didn’t know if he was alive, dead, ran over, catnapped, etc. Several months later,…

He’s with us always

Almost six  years ago 2017, we adopted a cat and named him Maverick. We decided to keep him at daddy’s.  Our two sons fell love with him instantly….but his behavior was very erratic.  They only had him for six weeks and he ran away.  The kids said he was a crazy kitty.  Six months later…

Reunited Within 15 Minutes!

We recently moved into a new home and have only been part of the neighborhood for about 3 weeks. We were notified by email that our family’s beloved Frenchie named Lucy had been found and that her chip had been scanned, BEFORE we even realized she was missing!!! Thanks to this chip, and the incredibly…

Found

Thanks to an honest couple and PetLink, I was reunited with my dog. The registration fee is definitely worth the cost when you have your pet returned. I recommend everyone get a microchip for there pet and register it on PetLink. I also had my cat returned to me, who was lost also.

A safe return.

A huge thank you to PetLink , and lovely Janell who found our fur baby on the golf course right behind our home. He is just a little guy, and managed to squeeze through a little opening in our gate. He has never run out before, and we are so grateful to the young woman…

Benefits of Microchipping Your Pet

Microchipping your pet has several benefits. Microchips are permanent – after they are implanted, your dog or cat will never need to have it removed or replaced. Microchips do not use any power source or connectivity, so they will always be able to be scanned under any conditions. Microchips are inexpensive and easy to implant into your pet by a veterinarian. The procedure is also swift and generally painless.

Unfortunately, it is very common for a lost pet to be found without a name tag on their collar. This often leads to pets being placed in shelters, hoping their owner will find them. Unlike tags and collars, microchips cannot fall out, break, get lost, etc. No matter what your pet does or where it goes, the microchip will stay safely implanted under its skin. When a pet has a microchip, it can be scanned by a veterinarian or animal shelter, regardless of the condition the pet is in. Microchips are the quickest and easiest way to identify lost animals and return them to their owners.

What Happens When Your Pet Has Been Found & Reported

When a PetLink chip is scanned in a found pet, the owner gets notified immediately. To get in touch as quickly as possible, the registered owner will receive, texts, phone calls, and emails from PetLink right away. Once PetLink gets connected with the pet owner, arrangements can be made to return the pet safely back to its family.

Giving You Peace of Mind

We understand how important pets are to their owners– many consider their animals as members of their family. Naturally, pet owners worry about their pet’s safety and well-being. Microchipping your pet is one of the easiest and most essential steps you can take to keep your animal safe.

PetLink significantly reduces the risk of permanently losing a pet, providing our members with peace of mind knowing we will assist in bringing their lost pets home. We encourage you to read our microchip success stories, which highlight how microchipping not only alleviates owners’ worries but also provides comfort to pets. A microchip registered at PetLink ensures lost pets are quickly reunited with their families, avoiding prolonged stress in shelters and offering great relief for both pets and their owners.
